Good food doesn't have to be difficult…

Portly Cooks | Creamy Blue Cheese Pasta

This is another one of those, ‘What can I make from this?’ recipes.

  •  50g Pancetta
  • 50g Blue Cheese
  • 1 Field Mushroom
  • 50ml Creme Fraiche
  • 75g Linguine
  • Handful of Rocket

Start off by cooking the pasta until aldente, drain and leave to one side. In a pan or wok, fry the pancetta for a couple of minutes. Next add the mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes.

Add the linguine to the mushrooms and pancetta and stir fry for about a minute. Finally add the creme fraiche and crumble the blue cheese into the mixture, stir to make sure everything is covered and serve.

This sounds really good, Portly. All flavors that stand up well to each other.

Thank you Karen, I’ve been making it quite a lot recently. 😊
