In a bid to feel like i’m eating slightly healthily I made a salad. Well I say made, I put some leaves in a bowl.
To make my green bowl of leaves more appetising however I made some dressing and croutons to go on top, thus negating the health level of the salad.
- Handful of salad leaves
- Leftover foccacia or baguette about 100g
- Large pinch ofPaprika
- Garlic powder
- 25ml kikkoman soy sauce
- 25ml white wine vinegar
- Glug of extra virgin olive oil
Start off making the croutons. Cut the bread into chunks and then in some oil fry until golden brown. Once done out into a bowl or plastic bag and coat with the paprika and season well.
For the dressing in a jar, add the soy, garlic, vinegar and oil. Put the lid on ghe jar and give it a good shake.
Finally, put the croutons on the salad and pour over the dressing and you’ve got your salad.
