Oreos who doesn’t love them? Especially when dipped in milk they are great. Making a cheesecake out of them though that’s all kinds of good! This is a really easy cheesecake recipe too, literally about 15 minutes to make and then just pop them in the fridge until you’re ready to go!
Start off by melting the butter in a saucepan big enough to accommodate your Oreos, while the butter is melting stick your Oreos into a blender and blitz them until they make an Oreo powder. Once you have the Oreo powder, add it to the butter and stir it in, make sure you save some to add to the topping mixture. In another bowl mix the cream cheese, icing sugar, the reserved Oreo powder and vanilla together.
If you want to you can wait for the base mix to cool a little or you can go straight ahead and put into your tin or whatever you’re using, I used little pots to make individual cheesecakes. Once your base is in and smoothed down add the topping mixture and then stick it in the fridge to chill until you need it, or just dive right in!
